In April of 1948 The St. Louis area was inundated with reports of unusually large birds. At least 13 witnesses reported seeing a gigantic, grayish-black bird with a torpedo-like body soaring in the skies above South St. Louis, Alton, Glendale, Overland, and Richmond Heights. People described the creature as “immense,” “incredible,” and “enormous.” A police patrolman and a corporal saw it as well. Officer Francis Hennelly said that “Its wings were flapping, and it was headed southwest, flying at an altitude of several hundred feet. I thought it was a large eagle, but I’ve never seen one that big before.” One witness said that unlike normal birds, this creature flapped one wing, then the other. Another witness watched as the giant bird flew towards the Mississippi bluffs, where he surmised would make a good habitat for such a creature. There have been multiple reports of gigantic birds and/or Mothman type creatures across the Midwest since at least the 1700's, but from 2012 to 2022, a large number of reports of winged humanoids, pterodactyls, and large birds came in from from the greater Kansas City area. Chicago has also had multiple reports of large winged humanoids. Perhaps whatever this creature is has followed the Rivers from Chicago, to St. Louis, and across the state to Kansas City. Margie Kay, Bill Spicer and Wayne Lawrence teamed up to write a book about the fast movers, which are extremely high-speed craft that are normally too fast to see with the naked eye. The authors explain how they discovered the phenomenon and explain how to see the craft. Each of the three authors discovered these objects in different ways. Wayne Lawrence is an investigator for MUFON. He noticed objects moving in and out of Blue Springs Lake in Blue Springs, Missouri several years ago. He set up a video camera at his house and took many hours of video, then reviewed it in slow motion to reveal craft moving at extremely high rates of speed. Using trigonometry, Wayne was able to determine that these objects could move at speeds up to 8,000 mph or higher. Bill Spicer, and aircraft interior design engineer living in Wichita, Kansas, learned about the fast movers after a visit from an inter-dimensional being who told him how to use a polarized filter over a camera lens, and how to communicate with the occupants of the crafts to request that they come closer so he could get them on film. Bill's experiences continue to increase in number and proximity. Margie Kay, an investigator and remote viewer, first noticed fast moving objects years ago, but in 2012, after speaking with Bill, she realized that these objects were actually craft. She then used remote viewing to slow time down so she could get a better look at the vehicles. She now trains others how to activate the psychic center of the brain in order to view the craft and communicate with their occupants. Let's face it - some of us just are not normal, and we crave weirdness, spookiness, and anything out of the ordinary. So why should V-Day be anything different? Here are some tips to surprise your paranormal Valentine and have a spooky at-home evening: Order some good grub or make something savory yourself. Bloody Hagas comes to mind, but whatever suits your fancy will work! Pick up some blood-red roses and put them in a black vase. You might want to throw a few black roses in, too! Buy a bottle of dark red wine to serve with dinner. For a non-alcoholic drink black cherry juice mixed with sprite makes a nice spooky red drink. For dessert, make a chocolate heart shaped cake with cherry filling and top with red cherries. (or buy one) Put a plastic scull on top for pizazz. Be sure to put some red and black candles on the table and dim the lights for dinner to set the mood. Get your favorite scary movie ready to go after dinner and cuddle up. "The Haunting" comes to mind. Be sure to listen to the "X" for most of the evening!

Missourian's were treated to a weird sight on February 1, and several report this to MUFON. Many witnessed a blue swirling pattern in the skies, and one man described it as a "galaxy." From MSM: "KRCG 13 Meteorologist Zach Paul explains what people saw. "It was the spiral vapor trail from the orbital burn for COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation (CSG 2) satellite," says Paul. "It made for a very cool spiral vapor trail/cloud that was illuminated by the sun high up in the atmosphere." The SpaceX flight took off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Monday. By Lee Speigel December 31, 2021 Harry Reid, Nevada’s longest-serving senator, died on Tuesday after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 82. Following Reid’s history-making career as one of the most powerful people in American politics, an explosive 2017 New York Times story revealed how Reid was responsible, in 2007, for the secret funding of a Defense Department program known as the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). Its purpose was to study UFOs and determine if the unexplained objects posed a threat to national security. In 2018, during production of the critically acclaimed 2020 UFO documentary, “The Phenomenon,” Sen. Reid met with film director James Fox and this writer for an exclusive on-camera interview about his involvement and long interest in the UFO subject. He was adamant about how the Defense Intelligence Agency resisted any proposed UFO investigation. “They dragged their feet, even though one of their senior scientists thought they should look at this,” Reid said. “All we were saying was nobody has to agree why it’s there, but shouldn’t we at least be spending some money to study all these phenomena? Shouldn’t we study this stuff? The answer is YES! And that’s all this was about. And why the federal government, all these years, has covered up, put brake pads on everything – stopped it. I think it’s very, very bad for our country.” When Reid was asked if he tried to go after reported, credible, official proof of UFO reality, the senator replied, “We did. We have. It’s there! I’m saying most of it hasn’t seen the light of day. No one has proven there’s nothing to it. No one’s had the opportunity to prove there’s something to it, and that’s what I did. We need some help from the Pentagon and others who’ve been dragging their heels on this for decades. That’s why you see people who have quit, and left these intelligence agencies and the military because they know there’s something to study and the federal government is afraid to do anything.” Sen. Reid was recently honored when Las Vegas’ McCarren International Airport was re-named Harry Reid International Airport. A memorial service for Reid is scheduled on Jan. 8th in Las Vegas.
