Man Kills Grizzly Bear After Attack BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — A 72-year-old man picking huckleberries in Montana was attacked by a female grizzly bear and shot and killed it. The bear injured him badly enough that he had to be hospitalized, authorities said Friday.

The man was alone on national forest land when the adult female charged him Thursday. He suffered significant injuries before killing the bear with a handgun, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials said. More: Man hospitalized after killing grizzly bear that attacked in Montana | AP News


Cat Recieves Honorary 'Doctor Of Litter-ature' Degree

A Vermont university has bestowed the honorary degree of “doctor of litter-ature” on Max the cat, a beloved member of its community, ahead of students’ graduation on Saturday.
