For the first time in 50 years Congress is holding a UFO hearing today as questions build on the subject.
Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security Ronald Moultrie and Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence Scott Bray will testify, but it is not expected that they will share all they know at this public hearing. It is likely that the two will be asked if the UAPs present a threat to our national security.
This is one issue that bipartisan Senators agree needs to be addressed. According to Fox News "In 2021 a group of bipartisan Senators introduced an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act calling for a new government office as a "central repository" for UFO information and their threat to the U.S. It would be a collaborative effort between the Defense Department and the Director of National Intelligence."
